Company History

  • 1987

    Teleses was established Teleses is established by Recep UZELLİ to sale telephone exchange and maintain technical service. They are only focused on institutional market until 1990. After that, they started to sale pager and NMT car phones which are teleses’s first retail sales. In the beginning Teleses’s service perception is door to door selling then they set up their first mobile phone shop in Ankara.

  • 1994

    Turkcell took first GSM license of Turkey and became first mobile phone operator Telsim and Turkcell are Turkey’s first mobile phone operators. Teleses entered to mobile phone sector as dealer of Turkcell in 1994.

  • 1997

    Teleses began to allocate mobile phones Teleses took new position as Turkcell’s activation center. Teleses’s service included all mobile phones subscription and activation, actualized customer relations management operations such as value-added services.

  • 1998

    Teleses got down to foreign trade.

  • 1999

    First innovation. Teleses brought first constant GSM terminal to Turkey Turkcell network callings made advantages over 50 %, Teleses noticed the trade opportunity and made an agreement with ECOTEL which produced last technology constant GSM terminal Vierling Electronic in Germany. It was Teleses’s first innovative product. Teleses was in CORBUSS organization Mobile phone sector became more competitive, Teleses began to serucing operationsTurkcell corporate customers and their workers. Direction of strategy, Turkcell’s corporate selling operation called as CORBUSS combined a program and they were a connecting corporate between them. In this project Teleses was supplier of ECOTEL FCT and at the same time in selling organizations took place such as selling operations. Teleses brought in the most subscriber to TURKCELL and was achieved.

  • 2000

    The game rule’s was changed: NETCELL rise Coming in 2000s Teleses became a leader for both retail selling and wholesale selling markets. Company’s mobile phone selling increased market share to 6-7 %. Teleses and other leader wholesale selling firms such as Teleses, combined their purchasing and selling poverty to established NETCELL. Unsurprisingly, Netcell gained in 40 % market share in first year.

  • 2003

    IT industry 6th in 500 In NETCELL Interpro’s marketing survey Teleses was 6th in 500.

  • 2004

    Brand Project: Laxon In March 2003 Teleses decided to join DECT sector, original idea; the cordless phone penetratron percentage was so low level according to Europe. First Laxon phone was launched by Teleses in January 2004. Only in 5 months they accessed 3rd position with 19% market share in DECT Market.

  • 2005

    Laxon was market leader with 27 % market share Since its inception, only 16 months later LAXON was a market leader with 27% market share according to the GFK report.

  • 2006

    NETCELL was 7th in 500 in IT Industry with 639 million dollar. Teleses’s chairman of the board of director Recep UZELLİ captured “Businessman of Year” prize.

  • 2007

    Teleses was a leader of Turkcell Turkcell business association congregation composed in Cyprus, about Turkcell’s products and services performance, Teleses was selected the most subscriber brought in dealer of Turkcell in Turkey.

  • 2008

    Shop number is 27 Teleses set up 9 new shop in 2007 and shop number increased to 27.
